On Monday 26 March 2007 the new 2,900 square metre Coles Supermarket opened at Muswellbrook Fair, joining Harvey Norman, Best & Less, Reject Shop and Dominos, who had opened progressively since December 2006. All traders are reporting good results and Coles has experienced a significant increase from their position in the old centre on the lower part of the site. Coles now carry their full range plus a delicatessen.
The crowds filling the car-park and recent comments are a testament to the quality of the retailers and the ease of parking at Muswellbrook Fair. As the specialty shops fill up the choice will continue to improve.
Stage 2 of the development of Muswellbrook Fair will be the re-development of the previous retail centre, adding bulky goods retail and more car parking to further improve the retail offering and convenience. The developer is committed to continually improving the quality of Muswellbrook’s New Centre of Retailing.
